About Me

I am a Registered Psychologist with experience working with adults, children and families. I find my work rewarding and my clients inspiring.

Over the years, I have worked most frequently with stress, depression, anxiety, trauma, and family struggles. My work experience has taught me valuable lessons about the relief that can be provided by a genuine and empathic listener, and about the amazing changes that people can make when their strengths are encouraged to flourish.

My counselling experience began in 2006 working with children with complex needs in a community agency in Calgary, Alberta. Since then, I have worked in counselling roles in community organizations helping individuals, children, and families overcome their difficulties.

I also have worked in private practice with individuals and families with a range of concerns. Finally, I have worked with a community not-for-profit organization providing treatment for immigrant and refugee children and families who were impacted by trauma. I moved to Victoria in 2017.

I chose "Mosaic Psychology" as a business name because the concept of the mosaic is meaningful to me. I work from an integrated perspective to find the approach that works best for my clients based on their situation, their personality, and their culture. I believe it is important to acknowledge and honour all the facets of my clients.

Services

Individual Therapy

I work with adults facing depression, anxiety, trauma, life transitions, stress, relationship struggles, grief, and the need to find balance.

Child & Family

I work with children and their families facing a wide range of concerns, including depression, anxiety, bullying, stress, and relationship difficulties (peer and family). 

EMDR

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is an evidence-based approach to working with trauma. I provide EMDR to children and adults.
